There is no registration needed so updating is okay! You can register it if you want to but you don't have to.

Brilliant, my PC died, had to reinstall and have lost 11 years of research. Was on Legacy who did not want to know about reinstall, so that was 30 quid up the shute. No one should have any problems downloading this. Thanks Oglecowboy for the patch as well

This downloaded like a deam. BUT the prog itself is very inflexable, you cannot for example change birth to baptism otherwise its ok, I much prefer Millenium's Legacy 7, a great prog.

once this is installed do we have to still pay from records on ancestry.com. i noticed the disc in the shops today had a free 60 days of use on ancestry,worth £77.

Of course you have to pay for Ancestry.com BUT if a couple of you get to gether, one pays then they share the login, I have Tues, Thurs and Fridays and I pay HALF the fees

I keep getting an error message with this - that I don't have access to a certain file. The last time I tried it was a file with part of the name ..... outdoors/AfricanAmerican ...
Very strange. Is anyone else having this happen?

although no one else has noted this yet, just a heads up - the program did not start for me until i patched it. OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit.

Thanks! I have Win7 and the update is required under Admin. Right click on the program and run as Admin and you will be able to update with no problems. Thanks again for sharing.

DUH! I had the time zone set wrong. Registration will not work until set correctly. Program works perfectly now, thanks doublenuts.
